A "snapshot" of the frequency response inside your car is taken by the head unit and stored on a Memory Stick. Via a PC and the Internet, the Memory Stick can then connect to the Eclipse E-iSERV server that looks at your car's acoustic image, and it downloads the frequency and time delay information to optimize the sound. Place the Memory Stick back into the CD8454, and it will set itself up for proper playback. This is an absolutely brilliant way for anyone to receive a customized tuning
